Where does the name Boast Squash come from?   
 Boast is any squash shot where the ball hits a side wall or the back wall before hitting the front wall. The Boast can be either a “defensive” shot to extend a rally or an “attacking” shot to pressure your opponent or win a rally. 

 

Why is squash so popular around the World? Why should  I play squash?

How much does a Boast Squash membership cost?

Can I give Boast Squash a try?
 

Whether you are new to squash or just want to try our facilities, we offer tours and trial access for non-members by appointment and paid short term access for out of town visitors. First time Junior players are always FREE and guest passes are available for those interested in membership.   Contact us or visit our Join page  for details.

 

How is Boast Squash different from other clubs? 

At Boast, we know squash. Our focus is on squash and squash players, not the latest fads.  Boast emphasizes squash, fitness and fun.  We encourage and accentuate the great aspects of squash:  comradery, health, fun and self-improvement.  Our full-time professional staff is dedicated to the teaching and development of your squash game and providing and improving our members’ squash experience.  We cater to our members with a full-line pro shop, including racquet stringing services and all the gear you’ll need to get on the courts. Our courts are state of the art, best in class and incomparable quality, not low cost, outdated or re-purposed facilities found in other clubs.  Our clean, modern club facilities are exactly what you need to experience your squash journey to the fullest.

 

How do I enter the Club? 

As a “member-access” Club, Members receive a Boast Squash entry fob and Mobile App code access.  This is your access key and check-in card all in one.  The doors may be locked if you’re not a member or don’t have an appointment.  If you want a tour, please contact us to arrange an appointment.  

 

What are the Club’s Hours?

The Club is open for Member access daily from 6:00 am to 9:30 pm.  Non-members should contact us to arrange an appointment.

 

What if my child wants to play squash? 

Boast Squash offers numerous opportunities for juniors of all ages and skill levels.  Our Junior Academy is a phenomenal training opportunity for kids looking to develop their talents for competition, college or just for fun.  We also offer Junior Introductory Clinics (no membership required), lessons and programs for younger kids (age 5 and older) to allow them to become familiar with squash and try it on for size – First time juniors attend FREE!   Kids under 8 years play FREE on any adult membership.  Contact us for details.  

 

How do I get started in squash? 

Anyone can start playing squash at any age (most kids are ready by about ages 5 to 6).  First time juniors are always FREE!  We have great squash programs and an amazing squash community at Boast.  Private and semi-private lessons are a great way to improve quickly.  We also offer clinics, leagues, ladders and open/drop-in play to connect with players at your skill level. 

 

What equipment do I need to play?

  • Non-marking, indoor shoes – so as not to damage the court floors.
  • Racquets and protective eyewear – we have demos and loaners available for guests!
  • Squash balls.
  • Basic gym attire.
  • All of the above are available for purchase in the Boast Squash Pro Shop.

Where do I park my car at the Club?

Simple, free  parking is available mere steps from Boast Squash’s main entrance in the front (East) parking lot.  You may park anywhere in this lot. Overflow parking is available just North of the club, along the driveway or behind the building in the West lot.


How does the court numbering work at Boast?

Courts 1 through 6 are International singles courts (Court 6  is our white ball, glass-walled,  championship court). Courts A and B are North American Hardball doubles Courts (Court A is our glass-walled championship doubles court).


Can I bring a Friend or a Guest?

Full Club members may bring guests to the Club to use Club facilities by giving advanced notice to the Club, making a guest reservation and by following the Guest check-in process at the front desk. All new guests must complete the required sign-in process.  More details are available in our Club Operating Policy and Rules.  


Does Boast Squash offer lessons or clinics?

Our lead squash professional Mubashir “Shoby” Gul heads our programs of private and semi-private lessons, clinics and match play for development of squash skills at all levels.  Coach Shoby can set up a custom program for you.  Lessons and clinics are available to both members and non-members, although members receive priority scheduling and attractive member rates.
